And then suddenly, when you think it just couldn't get any better, the doorbell GONGS and everyone falls silent.

Dreams Are Reality By Renae, From Australia

My name is Renae, and I am a 17 year old from Australia. I have been studying The Secret for almost 4 years. I first discovered The Secret at 14 years of age when my mother handed me the book (thank you) that would change my life forever. After reading The Secret 3 times over I decided to try it out.

At the time I was the slowest runner in my grade at school. I would always be with the last students to finish the schools long distance cross country. I made the conscious decision that I was going to win that year. There was only three weeks left until the day of the event and most believed that it would be impossible for me to win. But not me. I began to apply the Law of Attraction to my life, running 7 km each day leading up to the event.

The day came, and I told my best friend that I would win. She didn’t believe that I would, so we placed a small bet of $5 on it. I had no doubt in my mind that I would win, and before the race I visualized myself receiving the 1st place ribbon at the finish line.

Of course, I won the race, ahead of the next runner by 1 km!

I was amazed at how well the Law of Attraction worked and continued to use it, putting the 1st place ribbon in a place I could see it every day, reminding myself that it works and to always have faith.
This year I began pursuing my dream. I enrolled in a Hair and Beauty course and began working towards my dream career. I wrote about my dream Hairdressing Apprenticeship in every detail, saying “Thank you” over and over, and feeling as though it was already mine. I even wrote the place that I would liked to have worked in, which is a small town called Latrobe.

Two weeks ago, my teacher announced that her friend was opening up a brand new Hair Salon in Ulverstone and she had been given the task of choosing a student for the Apprentice at her salon. My teacher decided to open up the opportunity to the entire class. Four of the students, including me, submitted our applications in.

I thought about the fact that the Apprenticeship wasn’t in Latrobe, but brushed it off and went for it anyway.A week later my teacher announces that the Salon has moved it’s location to Latrobe! From that moment, I knew the Apprenticeship was mine!

Today, my teacher told me that I am chosen for the Apprenticeship in her friend’s Salon! My dream is now reality! Thank you!

I hope this inspires each of you to have utter faith in your dreams, because your dreams are reality! I love you all!

Scret Story of the Week

I am not normally one to share stories like this or brag about money, but I am reading The Secret for the second time and I got to “The Secret Of Money” and I realized how much the Success Stories helped me gain the right mentality, so I thought I should share.

The thing that helped me the most was the idea of a Vision Board.

When I read the book for the first time last summer, I was working really long and tough hours at my internship, wondering if the time was really worth it. After reading the book, I decided to set a goal for myself to make the summer internship more of a game than a job. I wanted to make $10,000 that summer, after taxes, just to say I made 5 figures at a job for the first time ever.

I printed each number of 10,000 out on a piece of paper, as big as I could fit it, and hung the “$10,000″ in paper on my wall so it was the first thing I saw every morning and the last thing I saw at night. It motivated me to go into work every day.

I went back to school and a few weeks later then got a call from my mom at home saying I got something in the mail.

The next time I came home I opened it to find a check for just over $300 from my summer job paying me for the vacation days I didn’t take!

I made my goal of $10,000 by less than $100. I firmly believe that this was all through believing in The Secret. Now that I am reading it again, it is crazy to see how much of The Secret has worked in the past year and will continue to work in the future. Thank you for providing these stories and the motivation.

When things change in our life, often we have resistance to the change. But if you understand the structure of the Universe, life, and creation, then you will understand that life is change, and nothing ever stands still. Everything is energy, and energy is in continual motion and change. If energy stood still you would be gone, and there would be no life.

Difference Between Feeling Gratitude and Appreciation for Something

There is a difference between feeling gratitude and appreciation for something, and feeling attachment to something. Appreciation and gratitude are states of pure love, while attachment contains fear - fear of losing or not having what you are attached to. 

When it comes to something you want in your life, appreciation and gratitude attracts, and attachment pushes away. If you are feeling afraid that you will not get what you want, or losing what you have, then you have attachment. 

To remove the attachment, keep shifting yourself into a state of appreciation and gratitude, until you can feel that the fear has gone.

You Must be Happy Now to Bring Happiness into Your Life

You must be happy now to bring happiness into your life through the law of attraction. It's a simple formula. Happiness attracts happiness. Yet people use so many excuses as to why they can't be happy. They use excuses of debt, excuses of health, excuses of relationships, and excuses of all sorts of things as to why they can't use this simple formula. But the formula is the law.

No matter what the excuse, unless you begin to feel happy despite it, you cannot attract happiness. The law of attraction is saying to you, "Be happy now, and as long as you keep doing that, I will give you unlimited happiness."

The law of attraction cannot change anything in your life that you hate

The law of attraction cannot change anything in your life that you hate, because hate prevents the change from coming. Since the law is giving us exactly what we are putting out, when you hate something the law must continue to give you more of what you hate. You will not be able to move away from it. Love is the only way.

If you focus completely on the things you love, then you are on your way to a beautiful life.

Make sure every single person you meet has a better day

Every single day, no matter who you meet in the day - friends, family, work colleagues, strangers - give joy to them. Give a smile or a compliment or kind words or kind actions, but give joy! 

Do your best to make sure that every single person you meet has a better day because they saw you. This might sound like it is not connected with you and your life, but believe me it is inseparably connected through cosmic law.

As you give joy to every person you meet, you bring joy to YOU. The more you can give joy to others, the more you will bring the joy back to you.

 

When someone special chooses between two great and wondrous paths

When someone special chooses between two great and wondrous paths, like studying the arts versus sciences, living in Florida or California, or dating Sky instead of Skylar, is there sudden devastation, heartbreak, and tears for the road not taken? Or is there celebration, jubilation, and excitement for the infinite possibilities that lie ahead?

Yeah, and so it should be when someone special chooses to pass beyond the veils of time and space, as all must one day choose to do.

Allow the Universe to move you in your life to happier and better things

To allow the Universe to move you in your life to happier and better things, you are going to need to look around you and appreciate the good things here and now. Seek the beautiful things and count the blessings of where you are. Dissatisfaction will not bring the happier and the better into your life. 

Dissatisfaction roots you to the spot where you currently are, but appreciation for what you have attracts the happier and better to you. 

Remember that you are a magnet! Appreciation attracts appreciation!

It is not enough just to know the principles in The Secret

It is not enough to know the principles in The Secret - you must DO them, unceasingly, every single day. You must LIVE the principles. Step by step you will become the master of your thoughts and feelings, and the master of your life.

There is nothing more important than this, because your whole future life relies on you.

If you want to attract a better job or anything better than what you currently have, it is important to understand how the law of attraction works.

You know that to bring in something better you must imagine what that better thing looks like in your mind, and then live in that picture as though it is here now. But you should also know that if you complain about your current job, for example, and continue to focus on all the negative things, you will never bring the better job to you. You must look for the things to be grateful for in your current job. Each thing you find to be grateful for is helping to bring that better job to you. That is really working the law!
